Job summary

Doocey Group is a family-run utility and civil engineering contractor with over 40 years’ experience, based in Tipton. The Purchase Ledger Clerk will manage accounts payable processes, ensuring invoices are processed, recorded accurately and paid within agreed timelines while maintaining strong supplier relationships.

Ideal candidates will have purchase ledger experience in fast-paced environments and strong proficiency in Sage 50/200 and Microsoft Excel.

Qualifications

• Experience in purchase ledger within fast-paced environments.
• Experience processing large volumes of invoices with multiple approval stages.
• Knowledge of Sage 50 and/or Sage 200 beneficial.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

• Process high volumes of invoices through multi-step approval.
• Code invoices to correct company, department or contract.
• Match invoices with receipts and obtain authorization for clearance.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date purchase ledger records.
