Job summary

Hunter James Recruitment is assisting a large manufacturing company based in Iver, Buckinghamshire, in recruiting a Purchase Ledger / Payroll Supervisor on a 6-month on-site contract.

You'll process invoices, manage purchase ledgers, reconcile supplier statements, and assist with month-end activities while coordinating with HR to ensure timely payments. The role demands accuracy, strong Excel skills, and clear communication. Candidates with at least 1 year accounting experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in accounting, 1 year preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process and analyze purchase invoices and credit notes.
• Ensure accurate data entry of invoices into the system.
• Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist with month-end closing activities related to purchase ledger.
• Maintain accurate records of all transactions.
• Collaborate with HR to ensure timely payment of invoices.
• Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve issues or disputes.
