Job Description

  • Handle accounts payable for various entities within the company.
  • Process invoices, reconciling delivery notes to invoices received and purchase orders.
  • Set up new supplier accounts and maintain existing account details within the purchase ledger.
  • Monthly reconciliation of supplier statements.
  • Assist in the preparation of purchase summaries.
  • Process business expense returns.
  • Cashbook and petty cash cheques.
  • Maintain filing system to ensure that all documents are appropriately stored and can be easily retrieved.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Purchase Ledger should have:

  • Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable principles.
  • Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records.
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
