Job summary

Office Angels is currently recruiting for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join a Exeter-based finance team on a temporary basis. The role is 30 hours per week with a supportive team and a focus on accurate ledger processing.

Hourly pay is competitive, with weekly pay cycles. The successful candidate will have experience in purchase ledgers and be comfortable using SAGE in a busy finance environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in purchase ledger or accounts payable roles.
• Experience using SAGE is essential.
• Strong attention to detail and high accuracy.
• Good communication skills for queries and internal coordination.
• Able to work independently and as part of a busy finance team.

Responsibilities

• Process purchase invoices onto SAGE accurately and efficiently.
• Match invoices to purchase orders and maintain records.
• Support ledger processes including reconciliations and queries.
• Manage finance inbox queries and respond to internal/external requests.
• Assist with audit prep and provide supporting documents.
• Maintain organised finance records and provide admin support to the Finance team.
