Are you looking for a temporary role in accounting? Do you have experience in processing invoices, reconciling statements, and making payments? If so, you might be the perfect candidate for the position of Purchase Ledger Clerk.Agility Resourcing is a leading recruitment agency that specialises in finance and accountancy roles. We are looking for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our clients team in Preston, for a 3-month contract. You will be responsible for:- Coding and checking invoices- Working out VAT payments- Paying out money via BACS or cheque- Checking and reconciling supplier statements- Filing invoices and statements- Dealing with purchase enquiries- Processing staff expensesTo be successful in this role, you will need:- GCSEs in Maths and English- Strong IT skills, especially in Excel- Bookkeeping experience- Organisational skills- Attention to detail- Communication skillsThe salary for this role is 24,000 - 27,000, pro rata, depending on experience and qualifications.
