Job description

Our client based in Rossendale are currently recruiting for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their busy team.

Duties include:

  • Managing and maintaining the purchase ledger
  • Working with multiple currencies
  • Processing invoices, reconciling delivery notes to invoices and purchase orders
  • Setting up new suppliers and maintaining existing account details within the purchase ledger
  • Resolving price queries
  • Reconciling all supplier statements
  • Managing and maintaining the accounts payable inbox dealing with all queries
  • Processing staff expense claims
  • Processing BACS payments
  • Preparing bank reconciliations

Previous purchase ledger experience is essential for this role as is being a good communicator, having a high attention to detail, and the ability to work to tight deadlines.
