Job Title: Temporary Purchase Ledger Clerk
Location: Droitwich or Worcester
Contract: Temporary 6 weeks
Working Pattern: 2 3 days per week (flexible on days)
Start Date: ASAP
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our client on a temporary basis for 6 weeks. This part-time role has been created to support the finance team during a period of increased workload and will suit someone with prior experience in accounts payable or purchase ledger duties.
Key Responsibilities:- Processing supplier invoices accurately and in a timely manner
- Matching, batching and coding invoices
- Reconciling supplier statements
- Dealing with queries from suppliers and internal departments
- Preparing payment runs
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date ledger records
- Supporting the finance team with ad hoc tasks as required
Key Requirements:- Previous experience in a similar Purchase Ledger or Accounts Payable role
- Strong attention to detail and good numerical skills
- Confident using Xero
- Good communication skills and the ability to work independently
- Available to commit to 2 3 days per week over the next 6 weeks
