The successful candidate will be responsible for processing high volumes of purchase invoices, managing supplier queries, and general accounts administration within a supportive finance team. An immediate start is available with flexible pay based on experience. Ideal candidates will have previous experience in purchase ledger and a strong attention to detail.

Are you an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk looking for your next contract opportunity? Our client, a well-established M&E Contractor based in Hemel Hempstead, is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented professional to support their finance team for a 6-8 week assignment.
Processing high volumes of purchase invoices
Matching, batching, and coding invoices
Handling supplier queries and reconciling statements
Assisting with payment runs
General accounts administration and ledger maintenance
Previous experience in a purchase ledger or accounts payable role
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Good working knowledge of accounting systems (experience in construction/M&E sector is a bonus)
Ability to hit the ground running in a fast-paced environment
Immediate start available
