A leading company is seeking a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their Edinburgh office. This full-time, permanent position involves supporting the payments team, processing invoices, and handling payment runs. Ideal candidates will have experience in transactional finance and strong attention to detail.
Search are supporting the recruitment of a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our client's office in Edinburgh's city centre. This is a full-time, permanent, office-based role within an established business. Reporting to the Payments Supervisor, you'll be part of the payments team and provide support across the transactional finance function.
This role offers a salary range of £25,000 - £26,500, depending on experience.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Process a high volume of invoices across multiple divisions
* Support weekly and monthly payment runs
* Recharge supplier invoices to customers
* File supplier documents daily for processing
* Assist with month-end reconciliations where required
Skills and experience you'll ideally have:
* Experience in transactional finance role
* Comfortable in high volume environment
* Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
* Accurate processing skills
* Good interpersonal and communication abilities
* IT proficient with knowledge of accounting software
