Your new role

Thepany are looking for a part-time Purchase Ledger Clerk to join them on a temp-to-perm basis.

Duties will include:

1. Processing Purchase invoices, using nominal and project analysis codes
2. Reconciling supplier statements
3. Liaising with Site Managers to approve supplier invoices
4. Producing creditors analysis
5. Producing creditors payments lists
6. Allocating payments made to Suppliers
7. Emails and dealing with supplier queries
8. Producing Sales ledger invoices
9. Allocating receipts to Customer accounts
10. General administration and filing
11. Ad-hoc duties to assist Accounts Manager with all other accounting needs
12. Ad-hoc duties to assist other departments to ensure the smooth running of office
13. Good Knowledge of Sage Accounts is required
14. Excel experience preferred
15. Team player to work within a small team for a family business
16. Previous working experience within the construction industry and knowledge of CIS is an advantage

What you'll need to succeed

Ideally, you will be immediately available or on short notice. You will have good communication skills and be able to work as part of a small-knit finance team. You will have good knowledge of invoice processing and attention to detail. Knowledge of Sage accounts would be beneficial but not essential.
