  • Support month-end and year-end reconciliations and reporting.
  • Assist with accruals and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Manage shared inboxes, responding to invoices and queries promptly.

Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Purchase Ledger Assistant to join our client’s industry-leading organisation based in the Sittingbourne area. This role will play a key part in ensuring the smooth running of their accounts payable processes, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting the wider finance function.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain the purchase ledger and ensure prompt supplier payments
  • Accurately process invoices, purchase orders, and payments on time
  • Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies quickly
  • Prepare supplier payments and customer refunds
  • Support month-end and year-end reconciliations and reporting
  • Assist with accruals and ensure deadlines are met
  • Manage shared inboxes, responding to invoices and queries promptly
