West Lothian Council seeks a motivated pupil support worker for its Nursery team in Polkemmet ELC. The role involves supporting young children, promoting their development, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Applicants should have a strong understanding of child development and be prepared to register with the SSSC.
Working hours: Monday-Thursday on shift rota, either 7.40-3.55pm or 10.05-6.20pm. Friday 7.50-12.50.
Polkemmet ELC, situated within the village of Whitburn, serves local area children aged two to five. The setting offers spacious indoor learning areas and a large outdoor garden. It operates 50 weeks per year with flexible staff rota.
We are seeking a highly motivated pupil support worker to join our Nursery team. The successful candidate will have a sound knowledge of child development, respond to individual needs, and provide high-quality interactions and learning experiences.
