We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated pupil support worker to join the nursery team at Bathgate Early Years Centre. The ideal candidate will have a sound knowledge of child development and respond to the individual needs of each child, providing high-quality interactions that promote challenge, curiosity, and creativity.
This position involves working 26 hours per week, Monday to Thursday, from approximately 8 am to 3 pm, for 50 weeks of the year. Interviews will be held on Monday, 18th August 2025.

This role requires registration with the SSSC. The successful candidate will have three months from the start date to register and work towards a relevant qualification. If already registered, candidates must add West Lothian Council to their SSSC account.
This position is considered Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children and/or Protected Adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Preferred candidates will need to join or update their PVG Scheme membership before an offer of employment is made.
