We are seeking to appoint a Pupil Support Officer to join our dedicated team from September 2025. This is a pivotal operational role within our pastoral support structure, working closely with pupils, staff, and families to support behaviour, wellbeing and safeguarding across the academy.

As a key member of our inclusion team, you will:

  • Act as Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead (training provided)
  • Lead the day-to-day running of the academy’s RESET room
  • Monitor and intervene with pupils demonstrating challenging behaviour
  • Deliver pastoral support and emotional wellbeing interventions
  • Build strong relationships with families and external agencies
  • Be a positive presence around the school and a role model for our pupils

The successful applicant will be working directly with some of our most vulnerable young people, offering guidance, understanding, and high expectations to help them navigate their challenges and get back on track.

You should hold GCSEs in English and Maths (Grade C/4 or above) and ideally have experience working with young people or in an educational setting.
