Hermitage Park Primary School in Edinburgh is seeking a Pupil Support Assistant to cover a maternity leave until 31 March 2027. The role is 25 hours per week across 39 weeks of the school year, with pro-rata pay for part-time and sessional working.

You will work to support pupils with their learning, behaviour, and wellbeing, under supervision and guidance of the teaching staff. Applicants should be committed to inclusive education, able to work as part of a team, and meet PVG requirements.

Qualifications

• PVG Scheme check required.
• PVG Scheme update check may be required for those previously outside the UK.
• Surety of safeguarding and equalities commitments in recruitment.
