We’re looking for a caring and reliable Pupil Support Assistant to join a brilliant primary school team in Merton. If you’re someone who knows how to listen, encourage, and guide—especially when the going gets tough—this could be the perfect fit.
Providing 1:1 or small group support to pupils with additional learning, social, or emotional needs
Helping children feel safe, supported, and included in class activities
Supporting classroom routines, transitions, and emotional regulation
Working closely with teachers, SENCOs and parents to make sure every pupil has what they need to thrive
Has experience supporting children in school, youth work, or care settings
Brings calm, compassion, and a solution-focused mindset
Is confident working with pupils who may face learning, behavioural or emotional challenges
Is flexible, proactive, and ready to work as part of a team
