West Dunbartonshire Council is seeking a Pupil and Family Support Worker to provide essential support to children and families at Knoxland Primary. This fixed-term position emphasizes flexible support during key transition times in children's education. Candidates should possess experience working with children and demonstrable administrative skills, along with a commitment to enhancing the lives of young people.
This is a fixed-term post until 19th December 2025.
The salary will be pro-rata'd to the term-time hours worked.

The successful candidate will provide flexible support as a Pupil and Family Support Worker at Knoxland Primary.

While there are some parameters to consider, our Pupil & Family Support Workers play a key role in supporting children and families during transition times, beyond the start and finish of the school day.

This role is considered a Regulated Role with Children under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Membership of the PVG scheme is essential. Further details can be found here.
Preferred applicants will need to join the relevant PVG scheme or undergo a PVG update check before a formal offer is made.
