Biggin Hill Primary School is seeking a highly motivated Achievement Support Assistant to join our hardworking and dedicated staff. The role is permanent, 31 hours per week, term-time only (190 days), with a salary of £19,211 - £19,830 per annum.

The candidate will support pupils academically, socially and emotionally, promote positive behaviour and work closely with staff to raise attainment and progress. Visits to the school are welcome via the school office.

Responsabilités

• Set challenging and demanding expectations and promote self-esteem and independence.
• Promote good pupil behaviour, dealing promptly with conflict and incidents in line with school procedures encouraging pupils to take responsibility for their own behaviour.
• Support the academic, social, emotional and development of individuals and groups of pupils understanding clearly how pupils learn.
• Provide effective support to maximise attainment and accelerate the progress of individuals and groups of pupils.
• Assist with the development and implementation of Individual Education/Behaviour Plans and Personal Care programmes when necessary.
• Provide feedback to pupils in relation to progress towards academic, social, behavioural and learning skills.
• Liaise closely with appropriate staff in relation to safeguarding, behaviour, SEND needs and wellbeing issues.
• Provide detailed and regular feedback to teachers on pupils' attainment, progress, behaviour and attitudes to learning.
