Are you looking for a flexible, remote role that allows you to work from anywhere in the world?

As a Remote Interpreter, you will facilitate communication between clients and individuals with limited English proficiency. You will work remotely, providing interpreting services over the phone or via video calls. Your role involves interpreting conversations accurately and efficiently across various professional settings.

Please note: this is a self-employed position.

Responsibilities:

• Interpreting between English and your native language via phone or video calls.
• Providing interpretation services to clients with limited English proficiency.
• Interpreting in legal, health, and local government contexts.
• Checking understanding after each sentence.
• Performing conference, consecutive, and public service interpreting.
• Ensuring confidentiality and impartiality in your interpreting services.

About You:

• Fluent in English and another language.
• Eligible to work in the UK.
• At least 21 years old.
• Possessing relevant qualifications such as:
• Diploma in Public Service Interpreting (DPSI)
• Community Interpreting certification
• Registration with NRPSI, CIOL, or ITI
• Degree in Translation, Interpreting, or Languages
• Flexible to work around your schedule.
• Able to work from home.
• Self-motivated and independent.
