Job summary

Pertemps Dudley Industrial is recruiting for an experienced Amada Setter to join a busy Kingswinford manufacturing site. The role covers setting and operating Amada punch press machinery, reading drawings, changing tooling and ensuring components meet exact specs.

Morning and afternoon shifts are available, with weekly pay and full training support. The successful candidate will have proven Amada setter experience, be detail oriented, able to work to production deadlines and collaborate with the

Amada Setter / Punch Press Setter

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Amada Setter to join a busy and well established manufacturing environment in Kingswinford.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Amada Punch Press Setter looking for a new role, with both morning and afternoon shifts available.

The role

As an Amada Setter, you will be responsible for setting and operating Amada punch press machinery, producing components to the required specification and quality standards.

Your duties will include:

• Setting and operating Amada punch press machinery
• Setting machines for different jobs and production runs
• Changing tooling and carrying out machine adjustments
• Reading and working from engineering drawings
• Checking dimensions and quality of finished components
• Making adjustments to ensure products meet specification
• Identifying and resolving basic machine or production issues
• Working to production targets and deadlines
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
• Following company health and safety and quality procedures

Experience required

Previous Amada punch press setting experience is essential.

The successful candidate will ideally have:

• Proven experience as an Amada Setter / Punch Press Setter
• Strong hands-on experience setting and operating Amada machinery
• Experience within a sheet metal or manufacturing environment
• Good understanding of punch press machinery and tooling
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
• Experience changing tooling and adjusting machine settings
• Ability to carry out accurate dimensional and quality checks
• Strong attention to detail
• A reliable and hardworking approach to work
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Shifts & Pay

£14.00-£16.00 per hour, depending on experience
