Job summary

Celeros Flow Technology in the United Kingdom is seeking a Test Fitter to work on pumps for OE and AM orders, handling installation, commissioning, testing and dismantling. You will support continuous improvement and training while ensuring safety and quality throughout the test cycle.

The ideal candidate is a time-served Mechanical Fitter with 3+ years in heavy manufacturing, with a strong safety mindset; rotating equipment and laser alignment experience is advantageous, and willingness to

Qualifications

• Time served mechanical fitter with 3+ years in heavy manufacturing.
• Safety-minded with ability to manage risks in test environments.
• Experience with rotating equipment and laser alignment is advantageous.
• Understanding of lean manufacturing techniques.
• Team-focused, able to work to tight timeframes and meet goals.
• Able to communicate clearly in writing and verbally.
• Must be able to obtain National Security Vetting and SC level clearance.

Responsibilities

• Install pumps for testing and connect ancillary equipment.
• Control test parameters (temperatures/pressures) within limits.
• Identify non-conformances and escalate promptly.
• Disassemble test setups and store equipment per procedures.
• Maintain quality, complete paperwork and checklists.
• Maintain test department equipment for reliability.
• Support continuous improvement to safety and productivity.
• Work in other assembly areas when required.
• Collaborate with managers to implement policies and goals.
• Follow health, safety and environmental guidelines.
• Provide training to peers and apprentices as required.
• Pursue further training when needed.
