Job summary

Marlowe, part of Mitie, is seeking a Pumps Engineer to deliver maintenance, repair, and installation services for pump systems across customer sites throughout the UK. The role involves working in Manchester/Birmingham with UK-wide travel and a rotating on-call schedule.

Responsibilities include attending sites, performing planned and reactive works, and ensuring optimal pump performance. Travel may require overnight stays to meet operational needs.

Qualifications

• Previous electrical knowledge and experience within a relevant engineering or maintenance environment.
• Competent in working with pipework and valves.
• Full UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel extensively, including overnight stays.

Responsibilities

• Service, repair and maintain pump systems to ensure reliability.

We're looking for a Pumps Engineer who is passionate about delivering high-quality maintenance, repair and installation services for a range of pump systems across customer sites throughout the UK.
Role Responsibilities:

• Attend customer sites independently or as part of a team to carry out planned and reactive works Service, repair and maintain a variety of pump systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability Respond to call-outs and breakdowns relating to sewage, rainwater and cold-water booster pump systems Install new pump systems in line with company and customer requirements Travel throughout the UK and undertake overnight stays where required to support operational needs
