Attega Group Ltd in Bedford is seeking a PPM Engineer to join a specialist pumps team. You will deliver planned preventative maintenance across pumping and mechanical systems, following approved procedures and manufacturer guidelines.

You will inspect pumps and rotating equipment, record readings using digital reporting systems, and raise defects early. The role requires independent work, attention to detail and safety-conscious practices with opportunities for progression.

Qualifications

• Experience in planned preventative maintenance or mechanical engineering.
• Ability to follow technical procedures and manufacturer guidelines.
• Comfortable recording maintenance findings and producing accurate service reports.
• Safety-conscious and detail-oriented.

Responsabilités

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance per procedures.
• Inspect pumps, rotating equipment, wastewater stations and pressurisation units.
• Record readings, asset details and maintenance findings.
• Identify defects and escalate issues requiring support.
• Ensure equipment is safely reinstated after maintenance.
• Provide clear handovers and accurate reports for future work.
• Follow risk assessments and safe working practices.
