Job description

Overview

My client is looking for an experienced pump engineer to join our maintenance team. The ideal candidate will have a 'can do' attitude with a minimum 5 years' experience in a pump service / maintenance / installation role undertaking PPM visits and on call rota. Experience in maintaining packaged sewage treatment plant is preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customers sites throughout the North, Midlands and Southern UK.
• Undertake PPM maintenance activities with another team member or solo
• Undertake reactive maintenance activities with another team member or solo
• Work as part of an out of hours rota
• Identify remedial works and report back with full details to enable effective quoting
• Responsible attitude towards efficiency and Health and Safety
• Build good relationships with clients
• Complete time sheets

Requirements

• 5 years\' experience pump service and maintenance
• Can do attitude.
• Confined Space Trained
• Willing to work away
• Desire to progress both your career and the interests of the company
• Be able to fault find electrically in control panels
• Average of 2 nights way from home per week
