Are you a Pump or HVAC Engineer with a background in hydraulic or mechanical engineering? Are you looking to step away from the tools and move into a Applications Engineer role with a global OEM?

This is a rare opportunity to move into an office-based role where your hands-on experience will be highly valued. You'll be supported with full training and development while contributing to engineering-led solutions for high-profile clients across an array of commercial industries.

You'll join a well-established manufacturer known for its innovation and engineering excellence within the pump & HVAC sectors. In this varied, collaborative role, you'll support the service, sales and projects teams as well as customers with tailored system solutions, without the need for travel or tool-based work.

In this role, you'll provide remote technical support and fault-finding on cutting-edge systems, including diagnostics across hydraulic and mechanical engineering. You'll work closely with field service, sales and projects teams, as well as the end-user to provide first-line support & project work.

This role suits a Pump or HVAC Engineer with a background in hydraulic or mechanical engineering.

The Role:

  • Transition off the tools into a Applications Engineer position
  • Provide remote fault-finding and technical support (product training provided)
  • Office-based in Manchester, with occasional travel. Monday-Friday days-based work

The Person:

  • Experienced Pumps or HVAC Service/Sales Engineer
  • Background in hydraulic and mechanical engineering
  • Able to read technical drawings, specifications and schematics
