Pulsed Laser Technician



  • Perform, alignment, and tuning of pulsed fiber laser systems.

  • Use test equipment to measure and adjust laser system parameters, ensuring they meet specified performance criteria.

  • Conduct detailed calibrations and fine-tuning of laser systems to achieve desired output characteristics.

  • Perform diagnostic tests to identify and troubleshoot issues with laser systems.

  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize laser system designs and processes.

  • Document tuning procedures, adjustments, and test results for future reference.

  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines for handling laser equipment.

Requirements

  • Associates Degree, preferred.

  • Organized, energetic, reliable, timely, detail oriented.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.

  • Team oriented thinker.

  • Ability and desire to handle work of diverse scope and complexity.

  • Ability to support the team across a wide range tasks. Additional Requirements:

  • Lifting of items up to 50 pounds will be required, walking, standing, lifting and reaching.
