Job description

Join Sing Up and help shape the future of music education.

Sing Up is a music education company that believes in the power of singing to transform lives. We support schools, teachers and music practitioners through high-quality resources, training, and a global digital platform.

We’re looking for a highly organised and detail-focused Publishing Manager to lead the delivery of our music publishing and learning content.

This role is central to ensuring our music content (including songs, arrangements, recordings, and teaching resources) is delivered to a high standard, from commissioning through to publication.

About The Role

As Publishing Manager, you’ll take responsibility for the end‑to‑end delivery of music publishing and learning content, ensuring work is planned, coordinated, and delivered effectively and efficiently across teams.

You’ll
  • Translate content and publishing strategy into clear delivery plans.
  • Manage workflows across music production, editorial, and digital publishing.
  • Coordinate contributors and partners.
  • Act as final editorial sign‑off for the majority of published content.

You’ll work closely with editors, digital, marketing, and partnerships colleagues, as well as songwriters, composers, arrangers, engineers, and a variety of external partners.

This is a collaborative role combining project management, editorial quality assurance, and music publishing expertise, ensuring content is delivered on time, to an excellent standard, and aligned with organisational priorities.

About You

You’re an experienced and highly organised professional who thrives on turning ideas into well executed outcomes. You bring:

  • Strong experience managing complex publishing or content delivery projects in music publishing, music education, or a related creative field.
  • Understanding of how music content is developed, including songs, arrangements, notation and/or recordings.
  • Confidence working across editorial, production, and digital workflows.
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage timelines, priorities, and multiple stakeholders.

You take pride in quality and consistency, and bring a practical understanding of what makes content accurate, usable, and ready for publication.

You’re proactive, solutions focused and calm under pressure, able to bring structure and momentum to collaborative work.

An understanding of rights and licensing in music publishing is desirable, but just as important is your ability to learn quickly and apply sound judgement.
