Job description

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join a high-growth publishing team at the intersection of music, storytelling and culture, building out a new model of artist-led publishing across trade non-fiction books. As this new team expands, they are looking for an experienced publishing professional to play a vital role in supporting and delivering high-impact publishing campaigns across their growing books portfolio. This is a fast-paced role, suited to someone who hasat least 12 months experiencewithin trade book publishing, and ideally has experience of the publishing lifecycle. This role offers hybrid working.

You’ll be hands-on from day one; supporting multiple projects, managing key operational workflows, and liaising with a range of internal and external stakeholders (from artist management to publishing partners).

What you’ll be doing:

· Assisting on the delivery of multiple book publishing projects from concept to launch

· Creating, managing and updating metadata, AI sheets and key marketing assets

· Supporting campaign planning and delivery in collaboration with music labels and internal marketing teams

· Coordinating reprints, stock splits and production timelines with third-party partners

· Producing pitch decks, sales presentations and internal reports

· Proofing, editing and copywriting as required across multiple formats

· Providing commercial insight and research to support future publishing opportunities

Who we’re looking for:

We are looking for a highly motivated and confident individual with proven experience of working in a trade non-fiction book publishing environment, with knowledge of the book publishing process. You should be comfortable working in a busy environment, working in an early-stage start-up or high growth business. You will be highly organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing sometimes tight deadlines. Great communication skills and confidence when dealing with people both internally and externally are a must for this role, as are excellent relationship-building skills. You will have solid IT skills and confident using data and reporting tools to inform decision-making.

This is a brilliant opportunity to gain broad, hands-on experience across every stage of the book publishing process—within a creative, fast-moving division of one of the world’s most influential music companies. You’ll be part of a growing, entrepreneurial team with strong senior leadership and a clear vision for scaling artist-first publishing.
