Position: Publicity Assistant

We seek an enthusiastic, organized team player eager to start a career in publishing. Reporting to the Publicity Director, you will support the publicity team with administrative tasks, assist on campaigns and events, and have opportunities to lead your own projects. No prior publishing experience is necessary; a love of books and proactive attitude are key.

Responsibilities
  • Support the Publicity Director and team with diary management, invoices, minutes, and travel arrangements.
  • Assist with campaigns, author travel bookings, budget input, mailings, and event organization.
  • Manage some publicity campaigns to develop skills and contribute to the department.
  • Handle departmental processes like awards, festivals, invoices, and book orders.
  • Act as the publicity contact for media and the public, ensuring efficient communication.
  • Serve as the internal point of contact within the team.
