Job summary

Colchester Institute is seeking an experienced Publications and Design Manager to lead all print, design, photography and print advertising across the College. You will shape creative direction, manage a small team and work with senior stakeholders to deliver high-quality publications for student recruitment, employer engagement and the college’s reputation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ management experience within a creative, marketing, publications or communications environment, with a background in Graphic Design.
• Experience producing and managing printed publications (including prospectuses and brochures) and working with external print suppliers.
• Outstanding copywriting and proofreading with experience adapting content for print and digital.
• Strong organisational and project management skills with multiple stakeholders including senior leaders.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all print, design, photography and print advertising activity across the College.
• Manage a small, talented creative team with strategic direction and end-to-end project management.
• Provide workload prioritisation, quality control and editorial guidance.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders to plan and deliver compelling content that supports recruitment and reputation.
• Ensure publications reflect Colchester Institute’s quality and professionalism.
