West Northamptonshire Council is seeking a dedicated individual to join our Highways and Transport Team as a Public Transport Officer. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in supporting the delivery of the Council’s public transport policies within the Sustainable Travel Team.

As a Public Transport Officer, your role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities. You'll collect and analyse data to monitor the Council's Enhanced Partnership Scheme, ensuring bus reliability and usage. Handling bus service registrations and approvals under the Concessionary Travel Scheme, you'll liaise with operators and respond to inquiries, maintaining accurate information for both online and offline mediums.Additionally, you'll manage the end-to-end process of bus publicity, from preparation to distribution, ensuring timely and accurate material. Overseeing bus stop infrastructure, you'll commission installations, procure repairs, and handle consultations.About you
