Job summary

WTW is seeking a Public Sector Practice Leader to shape the strategy and future of its UK Public Sector practice. The role requires experience with the UK public sector, governance, procurement and stakeholder management.

You will lead a diverse team, drive growth, and collaborate across WTW to deliver valuable client outcomes. Based in Bristol with weekly travel to the office, you will set strategic direction, develop talent, and partner with senior leaders to strengthen client relationships

Qualifications

• Significant public sector experience in the UK, advising or leading with public sector clients.
• Track record of building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and decision makers.
• Experience developing and executing growth strategies within professional services or advisory settings.
• Proven ability to lead, coach and develop diverse teams in a matrix organisation.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to translate vision into actionable plans.
• Experience in proposing and delivering client propositions that meet market needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Public Sector practice, creating a high-performing culture focused on engagement and results.
• Shape and evolve the public sector proposition, addressing governance, funding and stakeholder needs.
• Drive sustainable growth through client retention, new business and market expansion in the UK public sector.
• Oversee delivery excellence, governance compliance and risk management across the practice.
• Act as an influential ambassador for WTW in public sector markets and industry networks.
