Job summary

Mitie Group plc. is recruiting a Security Officer to support DWP security across North Lincolnshire, Humber area and Lincolnshire Coast. The role offers weekday daytime hours, a strong customer-service element and travel between sites as needed.

You will patrol, respond to incidents, and liaise with emergency services, while complying with policy and maintaining a safe, welcoming environment for staff and visitors.

Qualifications

• Previous security experience.
• Good communication skills.
• Customer service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Carry out regular patrols and security checks at DWP sites.
• Respond to emergencies, incidents or suspicious activity.
• Provide a high standard of customer service and reassurance.
• Liaise with emergency services and Mitie centre as required.
• Complete accurate incident notebooks and reports.
• Follow Mitie and DWP policies at all times.
