Job summary

Value Match is a purpose-led UK procurement and resourcing business based in West Yorkshire, seeking a Procurement Manager/Specialist to join our team on a permanent basis. The role offers hybrid working, with on-site client visits 1-2 days per week as required, and a salary of £35-45K depending on experience.

The successful candidate will manage end-to-end procurement for public sector clients, build strong relationships with customers and suppliers, and advance social value and ethical

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of procurement experience, ideally in the public sector.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• CIPS qualified or equivalent experience.
• Strong commercial awareness with ability to develop solutions.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills to support customers.
• Understanding of Social Value embedded through procurement.
• Knowledge of PCRs; willing to learn new legislation/policy notes.
• Good appreciation of compliance, sustainability and social values.
• Ability to work at pace with conflicting priorities.
• Understanding of upcoming changes to procurement regulations.
• Full UK driving licence with own transport is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement process on behalf of customers.
• Build relationships with customers and suppliers.
• Guide suppliers through onboarding and engagement activities.
• Collaborate with procurement team across education sector projects.
• Ensure solutions meet customer needs and comply with policies.
