Job summary

Zaizi is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to research, evaluate and apply ML models within UK government projects. You’ll work with a small team to translate research into practical AI capabilities, keeping pace with advances and sharing knowledge.

Strong Python experience and ML frameworks are required, along with containerisation (Docker) and version control (Git). Hybrid working in the UK is supported, with a culture of learning and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of ML algorithms and frameworks with software engineering grounding.
• Experience with Python and ML frameworks to build, train and deploy models.
• Familiarity with containerisation and version control for collaborative work.

Responsibilities

• Research and evaluate ML models for practical government-domain applications.
• Turn research into proofs of concept and prototypes.
• Collaborate with engineers to translate ML into usable capabilities.
