Job summary

Salesforce UK Limited is seeking a Director, Project Management to lead the delivery of complex digital transformation programmes within major UK Public Sector initiatives. You will partner with programme leadership, solution architects, delivery managers and customer executives to ensure successful outcomes in regulated environments.

You will guide end-to-end delivery, manage governance, and coach a team of project and delivery managers to uphold delivery excellence and stakeholder alignment

Qualifications

• Significant experience delivering complex technology-enabled transformation projects within UK Government or the wider Public Sector.
• Experience leading large-scale software implementation or digital transformation projects with multiple delivery teams and suppliers, including teams of 30–100+ professionals.
• Experience managing project governance, planning, financials, budgets, forecasting, change control and executive reporting.
• Experience engaging senior customer stakeholders and managing dependencies across multiple workstreams.

Responsibilities

• Lead large, complex projects from mobilisation to implementation with end-to-end accountability for scope, schedule, budget, quality and customer satisfaction across teams of 30–100+ professionals.
• Build trusted relationships with customer delivery leaders and senior stakeholders, and act as the primary delivery contact.
• Run steering committees, project boards and governance forums.
• Establish governance and executive reporting, manage risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies, and own financial forecasting, budget control, resource utilisation and change control.
• Lead, coach and mentor project managers and delivery managers, and promote delivery excellence and continuous improvement across the wider delivery organisation.
