Job summary

NTT DATA UK&I is seeking a seasoned Public Sector Chief Data Officer to lead data and AI advisory across Central Government, Defence, Justice and Health sectors. You will drive data-driven engagements, transform opportunities into high-value portfolios and shape client strategies.

You will build strategic partnerships, mentor teams and ensure delivery excellence while maintaining a 20% utilization target for market-facing activity and thought leadership within a global analytics practice.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in the professional services industry with public sector engagement.
• 10+ years commercial exposure positioning complex data solutions.
• 10+ years leading or contributing to end-to-end data projects.
• Extensive data and analytics background in enterprise settings.

Responsibilities

• Lead Public Sector Data stakeholder strategy and advisory to all clients. Engaging from the earliest engagement through to sale completion; at all levels of government.
• Work within the Global Data & Analytics practice, collaborating with enterprise architects and programme managers, to scope, design, plan and cost Data engagements.
• Build close relationships with current and prospective public sector clients to develop data-related opportunities, delivering insights and presentations.
• Own some aspects, such as solution assurance, of the ongoing relationship.
• Provide strategic technology partner engagement to support Public Sector Go To Market initiatives.
• Generate Public Sector specific thought leadership and offerings to position the organisation.
• Maintain a utilisation target of 20% with the remainder of your time focused on market facing activity.
• Provide coaching and mentorship to team members, fostering the development of emerging leaders.
