Page Personnel is seeking a Criminal Solicitor to join a leading public sector legal organisation in Birmingham, England. The role involves advising police, reviewing complex files and conducting advocacy in a range of courts, with a personal caseload and strong stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

Experience in criminal law, criminal litigation, prosecution or defence work.
Strong advocacy and stakeholder management skills.
Motivated by public service, professional development and career progression.

Responsibilities

Advising police and investigators on evidence, charging decisions and case strategy across offences.
Reviewing serious and complex case files and making prosecution decisions per evidential and public interest tests.
Conducting advocacy in Courts, including contested hearings and multi-day trials.
Managing a personal caseload while working with counsel, investigators and partners.
Building relationships with courts, victims, witnesses and stakeholders throughout the prosecution process.
