Job summary

Hull City Council is seeking a reliable cleaner to provide cleaning services to a pre-determined area in accordance with safety systems and specifications, ensuring a clean, tidy and safe environment.

Key duties include carrying out cleaning duties to safe methods, complying with security policies, following Hull Building Cleanings procedures, attending training, and completing timesheets and other paperwork; health and safety responsibilities apply in this role.

Qualifications

• Undertake cleaning duties in accordance with safe systems of work within a work area.
• Comply with all Council Security Policies relating to the buildings within the work area.
• Adhere to Hull Building Cleanings' procedures, work schedules and safe system of work.
• Report any problems to the Senior Cleaning Assistant or Area Supervisor.
• Participates in appropriate training and staff development.
• Completes relevant paperwork e.g. timesheets, annual leave forms.
• Health and Safety responsibilities as outlined in policy.
