Job summary

Anson McCade is seeking a Contract Business Analyst for a major public sector digital transformation programme in the UK. The role is hybrid with 2 days onsite per week in Manchester or Leeds, and offers a day rate of up to £450 Inside IR35 through umbrella.

The successful candidate will work in an Agile, user-centred environment to shape and deliver digital services, translate complex needs into actionable requirements, and support cross-functional delivery teams across multiple business areas.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst within the public sector.
• Strong requirements gathering and stakeholder management skills.
• Extensive experience writing user stories and managing requirements.
• Solid understanding of Agile delivery methodologies.
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills.

Responsibilities

• Elicit, analyse and document business and user requirements
• Facilitate workshops and engage with stakeholders across multiple business areas
• Create and manage high-quality user stories and acceptance criteria
• Support product delivery teams in an Agile environment
• Translate complex business needs into clear and actionable requirements
• Contribute to service design and continuous improvement activities
