Public Sector Audit Senior job at Top 10 International Firm

Your new company

Brand new and exciting opportunity has arisen to join a top 10 international firm, as a Public Sector Audit Senior.

Your new role

You'll manage your own portfolio with support from your manager, develop enduring client relationships, and support in delivering revenue and profitability targets. Your day-to-day duties will include:

1. Heavily involved in the completion of audit fieldwork/planned substantive and analytical audit procedures, normally on site at client premises.
2. Responsibility for the planning and completion of audit assignments, whilst ensuring audit files have appropriate and sufficient documentation.
3. Prepare statutory financial statements from client data and highlight high-level risk areas or matters of concern to the Partner/Manager whilst using a significant degree of your own judgement.
4. Planning the execution and finalisation of the audit assignments for Partner/Manager review.

What you'll need to succeed

You'll be ACCA/ACA/CA qualified or equivalent and have experience auditing clients within a variety of industries, with experience coaching and mentoring junior members. You will also have working knowledge of IFRS/UKGAAP.
