Our specialist Public Sector team provides distinctive audit and advisory services across five sectors: local government, central government, health and social care, education, housing, and charities. About the role

1. Lead multiple audit engagements from planning through to finalisation of reports in line with agreed timescales.
2. Work closely with clients and be committed to providing an exceptional service.
3. Manage stakeholder relationships at audited entities and work with senior staff, overseeing and developing team members.
4. Collaborate with senior leaders up to Partner level.

What are we looking for?

1. ACA / CA / ACCA (or equivalent) qualification.
2. Prior experience at an experienced Audit Manager or Senior Manager level.
3. Relevant Public Sector audit experience.
4. Technical knowledge of UK GAAP, IFRS, FRS 102, and the Companies Act.
5. Significant experience leading external audits, managing a client portfolio, and leading audit teams.
6. Experience in managing, training, and coaching team members.
