A look into the role

As an Audit Assistant Manager in our Public Sector Audit team, you will:

  • Have excellent knowledge of UK GAAP / FRS102
  • Have extensive experience with audit software and Microsoft packages
  • Be genuinely interested in clients, able to discuss business challenges confidently
  • Maintain and develop technical knowledge to lead discussions with clients

Knowing you’re right for us

The minimum requirements include a professional qualification (ACA, ICAS, CA, ACCA, or CIPFA) with post-qualification experience and confidence managing a large portfolio of audit clients. Preferred skills include:

  • Experience managing audits of public sector bodies and handling complex technical matters
  • Strong knowledge of UK GAAP / FRS102
  • Project management experience
  • Experience with IFRS and auditing listed companies (beneficial)
  • Extensive experience with audit software and Microsoft packages
