Forvis Mazars invites school leavers to join a Public Sector Audit apprenticeship. You’ll test financial information, review evidence, and help ensure statements are accurate and compliant while learning applied auditing techniques.

You’ll develop analytical and communication skills, work with AI‑powered audit tools, and gain exposure to government bodies, NHS and local authorities across the UK. Training supports professional qualification alongside client work.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths and English at Grade 4/C or equivalent.
• 112 UCAS tariff points or predicted from top qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Support audit engagements by testing financial information and reviewing evidence.
• Analyse financial data to understand operations and identify risks.
• Use audit technology and data analytics to interpret large data volumes.
• Research accounting and auditing standards and apply them practically.
• Collaborate with clients and colleagues, gathering information and contributing to reports.
• Work with Audit, Tax and Advisory teams to understand client challenges.
• Take on increasing responsibility while building technical expertise.
