Please note, this role is not remote.

  • Manage the Senior Public Relations Coordinator, reviewing their content including award submissions, PR plans, briefings and weekly local and global news roundups such as the Industry Brief and This Week at Gensler.
  • Work with the Communications Strategist and Social Media Coordinator to provide oversight for the region’s content and channels including project stories and blogs for Gensler.com, Instagram and X, ensuring that local stories are also amplified on Firmwide channels.
  • Guide high-level decision making and develop scenarios for any crisis comms, as appropriate.
  • Manage engagement with external partners including related campaigns and positioning opportunities.
  • Track metrics on PR reach and engagement across the region to inform future strategies and tactics.

Your Qualifications

  • Minimum requirement of a Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in a PR position; experience in the real estate, design or building industries is of interest; agency experience is helpful.
  • Strong relationships with key national, global architecture and design trade media + consumer lifestyle, news, and business media, and proven track record of placing significant stories.
  • Experience collaborating with and counselling senior executives to secure information that supports storytelling.

  • Works well as a member of a team, forward-thinking go-getter. Ability to adapt in dynamic settings with “make it happen” leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication, writing, and conceptual design skills.
