Qualifications
- Previous experience planning and coordinating events, especially in museums or heritage settings.
- Ability to connect and motivate volunteers.
- Experience in public engagement or community coordination.
Responsibilities
- Support the planning and delivery of events.
- Engage new and existing audiences through activities.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure event success.
- Maintain event plans and conduct risk assessments.
- Deliver post-event reports with suggestions for improvement.

- Support the planning, organisation and delivery of the annual public events programme.
- Help engage new and existing audiences through activities that inspire deeper knowledge, understanding and enjoyment of the Bletchley Park story.
- Collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders and work across departments to oversee the smooth running of events.
- Ensure activities are delivered to a high standard and within budget.
- Maintain event plans and produce risk assessments.
- Deliver post-event reports and make suggestions for event growth and improvement.
- This is a hands-on role which will include some heavy lifting to facilitate the set up and effective turnaround of event spaces.
Excellent administration and organisational skills. - Confidence in communicating at all levels, including coordinating and motivating volunteers.
- Ability to work well within a team and meet deadlines while maintaining a calm professional approach.
- Good numeracy skills and proficient in Microsoft Office software, including Word and Excel.
- Previous experience of planning and coordinating events within a museum, heritage or similar environment is essential., Candidates with experience of; Events Officer, Events Coordinator, Public Engagement Officer, Museum Programmes Officer, Heritage Events, Community Engagement, Volunteer Coordinator also be considered for this role.
