Job summary

Hoople is recruiting a Janitor/Cleaner based at the Plough Lane Council Offices in Hereford. The position is 10 hours per week with a permanent contract and a pay rate of £12.76 per hour.

The role involves carrying out a range of housekeeping duties to a high standard, including cleaning designated areas, mopping floors, cleaning desks and kitchenette areas, and handling cleaning chemicals in a safe, professional manner.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and replenishment of designated areas
• Mopping and sweeping floors where accessible
• Cleaning desks and other furniture where accessible
• Cleaning of kitchenettes
• Cleaning and replenishing of welfare facilities - washrooms
• Use of cleaning equipment and handling chemicals
• Empty waste bins, remove rubbish to collection areas
• Carrying out any other reasonable management requests
