Main duties of the job

In conjunction with NHS England, in 2018, we commenced the offer of maternal Flu and Pertussis vaccinations. The successful applicants will possess excellent time management skills; have evidence of experience in both team and change management and an ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively within the specialist team. Any potential candidate must meet the essential criteria and be flexible within the team working patterns to meet the needs of this weekday service.

The vaccination team posts are currently funded by NHS England. The immunisation nurses will report directly to the project lead, the Consultant Midwife for Public Health, but line managed by the Infectious Disease Lead midwife.
