Dorset HealthCare is responsible for all mental health services and many physical health services in Dorset, delivering both hospital and community-based care. We are the biggest provider of healthcare in Dorset, and our services continually evolve and develop to meet the needs of the local community.
We serve a population of almost 800,000 people and employ around 7,000 staff, covering a wide range of expertise and specialisms. Our staff provide healthcare at over 300 sites, ranging from village halls and GP surgeries to mental health inpatient hospitals and community hospitals - as well as in people's homes.

Job Overview
We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated Public Health Staff Nurses 0-19, to join our forward-thinking Weymouth, North and East Dorset and Dorchester Localities. We have various part time vacancies with core team hours from 09:00 to 17:00 and no weekend working.

As a Public Health Staff Nurse 0 - 19, you will participate in the delivery of the Healthy Child Programme and will work in partnership with children, young people and families, the Local Authority Children’s Services, Early Years Providers, Schools, voluntary and community sector agencies and other Health Care providers. You will be required to work closely with other members of the CYP Public Health Service 0-19, to provide services in response to identified needs, including safeguarding and supporting children and young people and their families, using evidence-based, early intervention strategies.
