A leading healthcare organization in Cheltenham is seeking a Public Health Nurse to support families and children with special educational needs. The role includes assessing care programs and working with other agencies to improve health outcomes. Strong leadership and collaboration skills are essential for this position. Applicants should have experience in public health nursing and a genuine interest in enhancing children's health.
The role includes supporting families and children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) and support their progression on the Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust (GHC) policies such as the SEND Graduated Pathway for Gloucestershire, SCAAS pathway, Safeguarding, promotion of health, prevention of ill health & protection of children are key priorities. This is undertaken in partnership with other agencies.
The Public Health Nurse works under the instruction and supervision of a SCPHN-Health Visitor in accordance with GHC protocols and competencies.
